My husband and I have a large blended family.  Needless to say that with 13 children and 11 grandchildren we have discovered that among us we have a variety of food sensitivities and allergies to contend with.  One of the first things that went out the window were all of our “comfort” foods.  The time tested recipes that I grew up with and loved.  Our task, recreating our favorite foods to look and taste like my moms.  We have learned quite a bit about kitchen chemistry along the way.  My daughters and I have been working for several years on various recipes that are safe for our family to eat and are quite tasty as well.  We have tossed around many different ideas about sharing our creations and recipe adaptations with others and have decided it was time to start our own site where we can freely share with you.  Please enjoy our collection and share your experiences with us.
